I'm hoping next week will be one of the best times in my life, since I'll be going to my first-ever GenCon! I hardly know what to say, other than I can barely contain my excitement! Gamers are just my kind of people and it'll be great to be among so many fans and gaming pros alike. Geek Ho!
I'm also looking forward to the release of Ultimate Combat and plan to pick up a copy for sure. I'm planning to hit the Fat Dragon booth too and may pickup a copy of the new Sea Dragon sailing ship. I'm not sure what other products I'll pick up but I'm really looking forward to seeing a lot of stuff I didn't even know existed--I remember that happening from the few cons I've attended in the past (Armadillo con and DallasCon... both long ago). I think I better buy some better luggage too. Haha!
Finally, since I GM most of the time, I'm hoping to find some great open gaming. I'm not signed up for any specific events and I've decided to see what happens, where I land and who I hook up with--new friends is what really makes the game great! I also watched the Dungeon Bastard video and I think I'm all set.
