I keep an eye on my web traffic believe it or not. I have a pretty steady wavy line thing from all over the world which is good, but folks seldom comment. It bugs me a little, but not enough that I'm going to bitch about it. What I was wondering though is what people are keying in on. Believe it or not, a lot of people seem to arrive here on a "4E Sucks" web search. While I did write a few of those sorts of posts, that ship has pretty much sailed, with only one recent notable exception. However, by in large those are but a tiny fraction of the posts on my blog, which again has me wondering what people wanna see. So, I figured I'd ask.
I also get the occasional so-called "necropost." I just wanted to mention that, unlike other folk, I actually like those so feel free to comment on anything past or present. :)

Pathfinder content usually catches my eye. I don't care about 4e, so I don't typically bother checking out posts with "4e" in the title (even if it is "4e sucks", sorry). Also, there so much OSR chatter (half of it seemingly dedicated to debating what is and is not part of the OSR), I just ignore about 90% of that stuff.
Hey Rich - I generally only comment when I feel.. I dunno.. incensed enough to have something to say. I like reading what you have to say (though I generally skip your play session logs) and love your monsters (would like to see them end up on the site hint hint!) Anyway, don't take my silence as disinterest. I just don't often have much to say about anything :)
I like to see posts that analyze mechanics, discuss how gaming has changed over the years, and any general philosophical thoughts related to gaming.
I do not really have a preference. I would probably like to see more reference to other games. Pathfinder is cool and all, but my preferred Fantasy game is Earthdawn.
I would like to try some other games out there, but really the people in my 'age bracket' are pretty set in their ways.
So unless you start posting Earthdawn related content (our current game), I doubt I'll comment on the Pathfinder posts. Other posts like this, I may comment on.
Thanks for you comment:
Rognar: Yeah I usually stay away from OSR discussions entirely because I too don't care and I'm not much of armchair lawyer.
If you don't mind my asking what are doing with Pathfinder? I'd be really interested to know for example if you're using Golarion or some other setting?
John: First, before anything else, I will vote for our site! Okay with that outta the way...
Fortunately, I'm real done with "migrating" my old campaign logs and if I post those again it'll be new ones which are usually for my players anyway.
I wouldn't mind posting more raw baddies from Hero Lab, but don't have a lot of time to fiddle with formatting and I really hate posting "furniture in the raw." I'm also working on the biggest RPG project I've ever tackled. It's going well but taking up the majority of my time these days.
Katallos: That's pretty much why I follow your site too. And welcome back by the way! The other thing that fascinates me about your group is how often you switch campaigns (in a good way
Vinsane: Ah, I'm a big FASA fan but never landed into any of their RPG products. I'm big on Interceptor and Centurion (still) and I'm a former Battletech guy.
I'll admit I had to take a peek at Wikipedia to refresh my memory. What Edition are you playing? I'm assuming the original?
Our group is made up of a bunch of guys with kids, it's our guys-night-out kind of deal. Because of this, we don't have a lot of time to prepare stuff, so we tend to use the Pathfinder adventure paths a lot of the time. In the last couple of years we've gone through Legacy of Fire, Second Darkness and Council of Thieves. Currently, we're doing Kingmaker.
I have pushed the group into 3rd edition. Our group acquired some new players; one was willing to go out and buy the book so I felt the timing was right.
One player still complains about changes in the new system, but he's always been against change.
Redbick has gone a long way to keep the game alive and made some improvements on the mechanics. I am a huge supporter since it is rare that games make it back once they get shelved.
